Rockiez Sound(- -)booth is what you may call a home-garage band that was not made up of professional musicians or artists.
It started of with a laptop, fruity loops studio and some creative writing. Most of the songs reflect back home to Wewak, East Sepik Province. The main insipiration behind most songs was a longing to go back home after moving away and living in the City. Started in 2012, the mini 'studio' became somewhat popular back home with some of the hit songs such as 'Angel 49' becoming household numbers.
The 'band' was active from 2013 to 2015 with the last and final track released in 2018.

Rockiez or Rockies - rocky or being stubborn as a rock
Sound Booth - a literal sound booth created by wooden strips, cardboard box and a mattress to create a sound proof booth to record songs
d(- -)b the logo came to be with the convenience of the words sound and booth with sound ending and begininig with the letters d and b. In the era of millenials, before emojis, symbols were used to show moods so d(- -)b was a person with headphones on!
